What is Aluminum Extrusion ?
Aluminum extrusion is a proven manufacturing technique used to create lightweight, durable, and high-strength aluminum profiles with precise, uniform cross-sections. In this process, a heated aluminum billet is pushed through a specially designed steel die using a hydraulic press. This allows manufacturers to produce anything from simple rods and channels to highly complex, custom-engineered shapes used across industries such as construction, automotive, electronics, and aerospace.
The beauty of aluminum extrusion lies in its efficiency and design flexibility. It enables the production of long, continuous parts with consistent mechanical properties, while also allowing for easy integration of secondary processes like CNC machining, drilling, and anodizing to deliver a fully finished component ready for final assembly.
What’s advantages of Aluminum Extrusion?
Lightweight yet Strong
Exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, ideal for structural frames and portable equipment.
Design Freedom & Assembly Reduction
Complex cross-sections, hollow, semi-hollow, multi-void are formed in a single profile, minimizing secondary joins and reducing total part count.
Cost-Effective for Volume Production
Lower tooling costs than die-casting or forging, plus high extrusion speeds that drive down per-unit pricing.
Superior Surface & Corrosion Resistance
Smooth, ready-to-finish surfaces accept anodizing, powder coating, or painting flawlessly, while the natural oxide layer ensures durability in medical, outdoor, and industrial environments.
Excellent Thermal & Electrical Conductivity
Efficient heat dissipation makes it ideal for electronic housings and LED applications, with good conductivity for specialized uses.
Sustainable & Post-Processing Friendly
100% recyclable with no property loss, and readily machined, drilled, bent, and welded—enabling us to hold tolerances as tight as ±0.01mm.
