Mild Steel
Features: Low cost, high strength, easy to bend and weld, rusts easily (needs coating). Typical Applications: Enclosures, brackets, chassis, automotive panels, machine guards, etc. More Metals

Galvanized Steel
Features: Excellent corrosion resistance, food-grade, aesthetic brushed finish, good weldability. Typical Applications: Medical equipment, kitchenware, food processing, architectural panels, etc. More Metals

Pre-Painted Steel
Features: TSteel + primer + color coating — no post-painting needed, decorative. Appliances, signage, consumer electronics enclosures, etc. More Metals

Aluminum
Features: Good bendability, corrosion resistant, lightweight, moderate strength. Typical Applications: Automotive panels, fuel tanks, aerospace components, structural parts, etc. More Metals

Galvanized steel
Mild steel + zinc coating — corrosion resistant, low cost, suit for HVAC ducts, electrical enclosures, roofing, outdoor cabinets etc.

Brass
Brass provides higher strength, a gold-like decorative appearance, and better machinability at lower cost, but work hardens quickly and welds poorly.

HSS
Copper offers the highest electrical and thermal conductivity with excellent corrosion resistance, but is soft, expensive, and reflective — requiring fiber laser or waterjet cutting.

FAQs About Metal Fabrication Materials
What metals can you work with for custom fabrication?
Material including: Steel,Cold and hot rolled carbon steel, Galvanized steel,Aluminum,Aluminized sheet metal,Galvannealed coated carbon steel,Stainless steel,Brass,Copper,Bronze, etc.
How do I choose the right material for my fabrication project?
Start by defining your part’s environment, say indoors, outdoors, submerged, or chemical-exposed,then identify your priorities: strength, weight, conductivity, or corrosion resistance. Consider formability (aluminum bends easily; high-strength steel requires more force) and surface finish needs (painted, powder coated, or raw). Finally, weigh cost and lead time, exotic materials cost more and take longer to source. Send us your application details and we’ll recommend the best material to you.
What's the difference between hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel?
Hot-rolled steel is processed at high temperatures, giving it a rough, scaly surface and wider tolerances—it’s economical and best for structural parts and welded assemblies. Cold-rolled steel is processed at room temperature, resulting in a smooth finish, tighter tolerances, and higher strength, but at a higher cost. Choose hot-rolled for value, cold-rolled for finish and precision.
What surface finishes do you offer?
Powder coating, anodizing, painting/silk screening, passivation, electroplating, blasting and so on . Tell us your environment, budget, and more details, we’ll recommend the right finish.
What tolerances can you hold?
We accept STEP, IGES, STL, DWG, DXF, and other common CAD formats.
